"Cinnabar" is hand-crafted using ancient techniques where artisans painstakingly layer molten lacquer. Designs are then hand-traced and carved into the red surface. Each beautiful bangle bracelet is intricately hand-carved with traditional Chinese designs. Each whimsical style depicts ornate carvings featuring oriental designs, floral motifs, and/or fiery dragons.
Note: These rich bangles are made from a reproduction Cinnabar â which is a lacquer resin that is recreated to match the distinctive appearance and feel of natural Cinnabar. True Cinnabar contains high levels of the toxic element Mercury, and it is currently debated as to whether it is safe to handle or wear.
